After two and a half weeks on the island, our stay is now coming to an end. What a journey it has been!!!!
After many events, the scarcity of birds our first week, the water situation this week and the power cut today, we were truly blessed on our last day!! We ringed three new species for our stay: White wagtail, Brambling and a big surprise at the end of the day, a Barred warbler!!! What an incredible farewell present for us, basically one of every ringer's dream in France to one day have this species in hand. 

Av interessante observasjoner kan nevnes: nattravn 2 og hauksanger 1. 

Dagens ringmerking: nattravn 2, linerle 2, rødstrupe 2, hauksanger 1, munk 7, løvsanger 1, bjørkefink 3 og grønnfink 5.

We are so grateful for our stay. We enjoyed every minute, discovered and explored the island, took a lot of pleasure in opening the station every day and ringing the birds. A huge thanks to the team for your warm welcome, good vibes, all the gifts you brought us. We really spent wonderful moments with you. We are already looking forward to coming back in the years to come. And, to quote a very dear friend, it really is a magical island...
