Hello everyone,
After a magical evening with the spectacle of the Northern Lights, a starry, windless night that promised a beautiful day of bird banding. But ultimately, the birds were few and far between this morning, and the results are below our expectations, though still with some pleasant surprises such as a twite on the first round, this Eurasian Sparrowhawk ringing in Sweden, and our first Fieldfares banded this morning after a notable arrival yesterday. Among the regular, but always enjoyable, sightings of a group of over 400 Eiders passing in front of the house and flocks of Bohemian Waxwings
