Hello everyone,
Despite waking up early in the morning hoping to open the nets, it was rainy and windy for almost the entire day, creating numerous water channels on the island. Calm returned in the late afternoon, allowing us to offer the nets and tag two new twites, as well as discovering a second water rail on the northern part of the island; the one in front of the cabin is still present. And this evening, we hope to tag an owl to round out the day.
Dagens ringmerking: gjerdesmett 1, rødstrupe 1, svarttrost 1, rødvingetrost 1, fuglekonge 1 og bergirisk 2.
