Hi everybody, First day at Store Færder for us, so many discoveries today! Nets opening: 5:00-12:00, 15:30-20:00. - 23 birds ringed today: tårnfalk 1, rødstrupe 1, svarttrost 4, gulsanger 1, møller 4, hagesanger 3, munk 3, løvsanger 4, gråfluesnapper 1 og gråsisik 1. - 15 retraps. A few more birds than yesterday, and a young kestrel as a little surprise. We started the day with a beautiful sunrise and we finished under the heavy rain. Hans Erik nicely explains us everything we need to know about the station and how to survive alone in the island. Before leaving, he show us a bit more of the archipelago, we spotted the seals and a few waders. During the evening, we spotted 1 nightjar and severals red-backed shrike (at least 3), hopefully there will visit the nets tomorrow! Ken ar vechal, Yannig and Julie  1cy Kestrel
