The wind was almost absent this morning and coming from South. Up to now, we can say that we enjoyed really spring liked days and you can almost see instantaniously  the flowers and leaves growing.  

 There wasn't much birds activity when I opened this morning : heard a couple of trushes(måltrost), a few redpolls (brunsisik)and not much more. The voles on the other hand, are active through the whole day and not very shy. which allowed me to have an ok picture with my small camera.

Later on, Terje payed us a visit with needed grosseries and he spotted a merlin (dvergfalk) on the island. Unfortunately for us, we couldn't spot it again for the rest of the day. But on the brighter side, at the end of the day, we had a new sparrowhawk (spurvehauk)in the net and still later on, we had two white wagtail (linerle) for the price of one in the net by the house. That was an excitment as we do not catch a lot of these. It was actually the first time Violaine got one in the hand. We also had the visit of a ringed common gull, that was ringed in store færder in october 2022.

In the end, it has thus been a nice day, with a number of birds ringed that was slightly better than the previous days.

Birds ringed today :linerle 2, gjerdesmett 2, rødstrupe 16, svarttrost 1, gransanger 8, fuglekonge 2, bjørkefink 1, brunsisik 5 . Total :37
